- Weehheeee!!! Good Friday is just over and it was somewhat great! Finally get to go fishing with oliver and shi hong XD Anyway, woke up uber early on Friday. 0650!!! I havnt woke up so early for the whole holiday yet XP Met bert and wayneponehne at 0730. unfortunately, we din take REXONA!!!!! Wad a shame.
Alighted at Jalan Janggus (Jalan?! I dunno. But its definietly smthn Janggus) Then walk to Andrews avenue before continuing the journey to the woods. As always, wayneponehne disturbs the large dog at the last bungalow of the road. This is wad always happens there. Wayneponehne: " RAFF, woof, RAFF!" Dog: "OU OU OU OU!" Waynepohene: "Siao Kao!" Me: "Look who's talking!" After the bungalows was the mosquito infested forest which sucks. even though we are moving about, the mosquitos still sting. Itch a lot but cant scratch coz hands are full and the stuff I carried was heavy. Apparently the itch disappeared in the later part of day.
Finally, we reached the jetty beside bottle tree village. (Note: Many ppl ask this, but, bottle tree village is not at khatib. The one at khatib is bottle tree PARK!!! Mr felix take special notice of this pls). Since we went early, there was only one malay uncle there crabbing. Therefore we set our "traps" all over the jetty. HEHEHE. No competition that way. When all was well, bert suddenly slipped at the side of the jetty.Luckily he was unhurt and didnt fall into the deep waters below, but he lost the whole set of rod he was using T.T Sian 1/2. My best catch so far- An ancient kerosene lamp. Got it when i attempted to fishing out bert's slipper. In the end I swim to claim it back. Fishing it up was too troublesome. When a lot of ppl came at arnd 9+ we shift place to the break water area which is away from the jetty. Then bert's parents came and gave us food and cold drinks! woots!
At around 11+ Pro fisherman SH Ketchum and Rabbit Zhang arrived. Pro fisherman SH Ketchum and Rabbit Zhang wants to fight! Go! Fish zinger! Spilled out pepsi! Pro fisherman SH Ketchum and Rabbit Zhang sent out Fish zinger meal and fish zinger meal! Use gobble! Function ceased! Its a draw! Both meals got eaten up. Ok that was irrelevant. By this time the "PLAGUE" was closing in onto the shoreline. Yucks. Abandoned fishing for a while and played PSP on PSP. Very fun. Pro PSP Player Adjutant leveled a lot while nooby Reid Sky leveld only twice. Pro PSP Player David Cook level a few times oso but he is still better than nooby Reid Sky.
At abt 2+ went back to fishing. Had a fishing competition to see who can cast the line further. Pro fisherman SH Ketchum and Rabbit Zhang was just too good for noobster Hong! But noobster Hong nvr gave up! The result of the competition shall be left for viewers to figure out to maintain a level of secrecy. =] Dark clouds had began to gather slowly. The nice weather didnt last long and the next thing we know it poured. Quickly took our stuff to the sheltered area below the jetty. The rain pelted on our tired backs as we made our way to the jetty. Though the rain was heavy, it didnt affect our spirit. Fishing master bert went into the rain and launched his crab net. Pro fisherman SH Ketchum and Rabbit Zhang attempt to fish in the rain coz they were already wet. Noobster Hong however, is really a noobster. Attempt to hold and umbrella while fishing. Then got a big wave coming to the shore. Noobster Hong tried to escape but failed. Instead he slipped and fell on the rocky area. Now he has lots of scratches. When the rain was really big, we went under the shelter and used the secret technique of fishing under the jetty. The cast was pretty lousy but bert Fishing master bert still managed to catch a fish. Ate chips and Pro fisherman Rabbit Zhang began thinking of using fei long zai tian.
When the rain stopped, we went back to fishing. This is the time when Pro fisherman rabbit Rabbit Zhang got his name. Before I go to that, lets folo the timeline 1st. Crabbing master Bert finally got a crab in his crab net! Better still it was the market species! Built a miniature dam on the sand and placed the crab inside. Notice noobster Hong hasnt gotten a single fish yet. Noobster Hong got tired and passed his rod to Pro fisherman Rabbit Zhang and went to help wayneponehne with his dam. It was that time when Pro Fisherman Rabbit Zhang got a rare RABBIT FISH!!!! I didnt even see it during my trips to the beach with Fishing master bert so far and Pro Fisherman Rabbit Zhang got it on his 1st day. No wonder he is Profisherman Rabbit Zhang. At around 6 Fishing Master bert and wayneponehne had to go home leaving the rest there. We left at around 6.45.Reached the bus stop at 7.10 and boarded it at 7.30. Uber tired and hurt =.=
This marks the end of the good friday trip. I would like to thank all who went and gave me emotional support. I would like to thank ........... etc. O.O its 1am + seems like this is gonna be the latest post so far and longest based on content. I better get goin before my mum screams. CIAO!
